Concreteorange Design / The German Connection
Owner
The primary mission of concreteorange is to provide small to medium sized businesses with professionally designed web-sites or content management systems, as well as to plan effective marketing strategies. Photographic services as well as print designs and IT instruction are offered as adjunct services.
Under its previous name and business model, the company provided translation and interpretation services (German/ French) for private and corporate clients, as well as various governmental agencies.
2005 – PRESENT
Hydrostone Osteopathy

This medium-sized alternative health clinic presently includes four full-time practitioners as well as three contractors. Built from scratch, all the targets of the initial business plan have been met. The operation is now profitable and the day to day operations have been delegated to an administrative staff. Light management and consulting duties as well as co-ordinating the yearly advertising strategies are the sole aspects that still require regular attention.

Taught first and second year German language classes, prepared course materials, as well as marked essays for the English language portion. Class sizes ranged from 25 to 40 students.
